Chad Massie, PGA Professional, has been teaching golf for 17 years. He not only teaches the golf swing, but is also trained in Bio-Mechanics with The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI).  With this training, Chad can set up individualized strength and flexibility programs to meet each individual golfers fitness needs.  He is 1 of 3 level 3 golf fitness instructors in Louisiana  and 1 of  2 level 2 junior instructors in Louisiana.  The Massie Golf Academy features the latest in Computer Video Analysis and Launch Monitor Technology.  The school is air conditioned and heated so on most occasions, weather is not a problem

Chad runs a weekly junior FUNdamental training program using the Cyclone and Smash Zone programs set up by TPI.  This program uses similar movements from many sports to train and strengthen the body to perform at peak levels.  The main ingredient for the Jr program is FUN.  "if it is not fun, they will not continue."

 

 

He uses a hat system similar to the belt system in Martial Arts.  When the kids can perform golf specific goals as well as physical fitness goals they will advance to the next hat "rank."    The program runs with the school calender.  Classes are 90 minutes long and are given on Saturday afternoons at 1:00 and 2:30.  The cost is $120 per month
 
 
 

Chad Massie teaches the entire game from driving to putting. He offers individual and group lessons up to four per session. Individual lessons start at $100.00 per hour and can be purchased in packages of four for $340.00. This is a $60 dollar savings on the regular cost of lessons.  Chad also offers a 4 person 3 hour lesson at $150 per person.  The 3 hour lesson covers fittings, physical evaluations, swing analysis and short game (putting and chipping) work.  Strength and flexibility programs are also set up with this package.
